CHAPTER 0 — THE PRELIMINARY SESSION

ABULIA is a psychological horror game about inaction and what it costs. In its essence, it's about a clinic that receives you, measures you, and files you away — in good faith, which is the problem.

Follow Axel through a clinic that has already opened a file on him. There are no Game Over screens here—nothing stops you, and nothing pushes you. That is the whole problem.

Nothing here opens because you pressed something. One spot in the corridor teaches you the rule, once. Stop moving, and it opens. Nothing repeats the lesson afterwards.

CONTENT WARNING

Abulia deals with depression, apathy, and clinical settings. There are no jump scares. If you're in a bad place right now, this game will still be here later.

Windows
Extract the .zip first, then run Abulia.exe. It will not run from inside the archive.

macOS
This build is not signed. First launch: right‑click the app → Open → Open again. After that it opens normally.
